Name: Lester Hart
Age: 13
Born: October 16, 20??
Lives in: Atherton, California (USA)
Description:
+ Short, pale blonde hair
+ Sky blue eyes
+ Average height
+ Has a heart condition
Lester Hart is the only son of a wealthy US businessman, who is the CEO of a successful string of stores in the States. He lives with his father, mother and two sisters in a small French-inspired mansion in Atherton. Born prematurely, he was found at birth to have a weak heart and thus is forced to spend much of his time confined within the house. Because of this, his mother left her teaching job at their previous home's university to attend to him, and together the family moved from the previous home in Washington to where they reside now.
His father is at heart a family man, and critical of the aloof prestige vaunted by private schooling, he sent all three children to the same local (yet still prestigious) public school so that they may 'mingle with more grounded folk'. Lester himself appears to be gentle, quiet, and withdrawn. What friends he has gather out of sympathy for his condition, while for some mysterious reason any bullies seeking to take advantage of him leave him alone. Much of his time at school is spent seated under whatever shade he can find from the Californian heat, watching others at play. Encouraged by his mother, he passes this spare time by sketching - often being teased for it - becoming accomplished enough that much of his work is displayed around the family home and in the school art room.
When not in school, he can be found outside in the family garden, sometimes fast asleep on the grass with a strange half smile on his face. Other times, his mother will find him surrounded by a flock of birds who tamely eat crumbs of bread straight from his hands. (She would later buy sunflower seeds to stop him stealing from their pantry.)
Amongst other hobbies, he is an enthusiastic rider of horses, he believing that their speed and agility will compensate for his own current lack. For his twelfth birthday, his father gifted him with a horse of his own, which Lester frequently takes for rides out around the area.
